We're pleased to announced that next Sunday (April 30th) will see a new first for the Lions - co-ed touch footy.  

We'll hold our usual Sunday training session at 11:00 am at ski beach followed by an introduction to co-ed footy starting at 12:30.  The introductory session will focus on kicking, handballing, and marking skills as well as concepts and rules of co-ed footy. 

The following week (April 6th), we'll start a 4 week co-ed footy competition every Sunday at 12:30 at ski beach following the 11:00 am Sunday practice.

 

Co-ed footy is a scaled down  non contact version of Australian Rules Football, similar to metro footy but without the contact.  So invite your friends, neighbors, girlfriends, wives, etc... down for a kick.  It's a great way to stay in shape and to get new people interested in the game.
