Dear fellow Lions and Supporters,

1. Lions vs OC Bombers

We play our next big 18-a-side game against our neighbours from Orange County, on Saturday July 12th.  We are looking for a huge supporter (and player) turnout, so please put this on your calendar!  We will be playing at the newly renovated NTC Park in Point Loma. 

The game will start at noon, and we are trying to negotiate a curtain raiser game with OC to make sure everyone gets a good run on the day.  More to follow.

2. New Tuesday Night Strength and Conditioning Session

The Lions have negotiated a deal with Rehab United who will be running a 6 week Strength and Conditioning program for us at their facility.  The sessions will be every Tuesday night at 6pm from July 15 through August 19.  Total cost is $79 per person which is due on the first day of training along with your registration/release form which will be posted on the Lions home page shortly.  This is a great deal to get to work with a professional strength and conditioning coach in a top notch facility.  Email Brando brandon_s_blankenship@yahoo.com to let him know if you are planning to participate.

Men’s: NEW NIGHT! Wednesday nights at Doyle Elementary is our new MANDATORY training night.  Please keep an eye on the website for Thursday training nights (e.g.; Thursday July 3rd and 10th we have training at Doyle as well).  If you have questions call Schenka, 734 223 6421.

Co-Ed: NEW LOCATION!  Monday nights at Ski Beach (see website for directions) at 6pm.  Next Co-Ed game will be July 26th during the Metro tournament.  Time to be confirmed.
