Training this Sunday.

Don't forget that there will be training THIS Sunday February 24th at North Clairmont Rec. Centre. Directions can be found here. Training will start at 10am sharp.

There have been a number of dates added to the training page, so keep your eye on them as they are subject to change. Also, the metro schedule and the Lions schedule for the year will be published shortly so stay tuned for that. The first Metro game will kick off on Friday March 24th.

There is no training this Thursday night (16th Feb). Our next training will be Sunday Feb 19th at 10am at Nth. Clairemont Rec. Centre. Bring your boots down as the balls will be out. Do not go down to the beach at Del Mar. We will start training regularly on Thursday nights next month, stay tuned for details or check this website regularly. See training page for specific directions.

2006 Metro Rosters Finalized

Last night at Chief's, under strict government supervision, the 2006 Metro Rosters were put together. Congratulations and good luck to the three coaches for season 2006, Brandon Blankenship, Mike Pokenon and Justin Valley. Follow this Metro Link to find out who is playing on what team.

The draw followed a short, sharp, spirited training session at North Clairemont Rec centre. Around 25 guys were in attendance and it was great to get the footies moving around the ground. There are some good signs for a promising year ahead, the momentum is building so let's keep it going.
The metro schedules will be finalized in the next week or so and posted on this website. Also once the Lions schedule firms up, we will post those dates here as well. So stay tuned for those details, we'll give you plenty of time so that you can organise your schedule.

Feb 9 Training and Draft

We will be having a training run at NORTH CLAIREMONT REC. CENTRE. Starting at 5:45pm, try to get there on time as we will be done by 7pm. I believe the footballs will be out...?!?
Then, starting at 7:30pm we will be having the Metro League Players Draft at CHIEFS BURGERS AND BREW in Solana Beach...

Chiefs have kindly donated a keg for us so, again, try to get there on time and don't miss out. Wives, girlfriends and kids etc. are all welcome, so come and have a beer and a meal and find out what team you will be on for the local competition.
