Lions upset in Division I classic

The Lions came away from the National Championships in Kentucky empty handed but far from disgraced. The Lions beat Golden Gate, Chicago and New York to set up another game against arch rivals Denver. The game lived up to the hype and in the end it was Denver that came out on top.

Congratulations must go to Denver who never once gave up, the Lions 2 goal half time lead was eventually overcome as the Bulldogs kicked 3 goals to nothing in the last half. The Lions were terrific all weekend and for 30 of the 40 minutes in the final but couldn't quite capitolize on the hard work.
More match details will follow once I get them from the coaches, stay tuned.

As part of USFooty's 10 year celebrations the San Diego Lions were asked to put on their football thinking caps and come up with a team of their own.
