Ok, last year I got completely hooked on Aussie Rules watching the games on FSC. I was really excited to start watching this season so, I started looking for the programming on the website and FSC stated that there would be no Rugby or Aussie Rules programming scheduled for 2006. I was really bummed and started looking on the web for like minded people and found this website. Can anyone tell me if there are any other channels other than Fox where one can watch the games. Thank you very much for your help.
G'day,
To be honest, the best place to watch as much footy as you can handle is online. Tha AFL website (afl.com.au) offers a 12 month subscription package for around $50. You get EVERY minute of EVERY game, granted it's 24 hours delayed. It's also fairly high quality video assuming your connection is decent. I use it and I love it, get to watch the mighty Blues get pumped by 100 points on a regular basis!
As for TV, well the best you usually get is 1 hour of highlights that are over 1 week old. Crap to that I say and I am more than willing to fork over $50 big ones to get more footy than I can possibly watch. (You even get to watch the old classic matches on demand, no to mention press conferences, etc) I don't mean to sound like a salesman but it's definatley worth it if you love yer footy.
Hi,
What about the one day in September? Im headin to the states on the 13th September and Im devastated about missing the Grand Final. Surely the Grand Final can be watched somewhere? Or is Setanta Sports channel the only option? Cheers.
